Recently attending a portfolio visit at Bourn graphic design studio in Stockport. I continued to stay in touch with Mark Stringer and Matthew Hill these were the designers who gave me feedback on my current portfolio. Currently working on my 5,000 word critical journal based on student placements I thought it would be a good opportunity to email Mark and ask his views about student placement. As I continued to keep in touch, Mark asked me whether I would like to do a monthly blog article for the Bourn website. These articles were to discuss my experiences and thoughts on preparing to leave education, how I view the design industry and my aspirations for the future.
