Currently working on my major project I decided to revisit my logo design. I decided one of the important factors I needed to include in the identity is that the real flower company are a ethical brand leader within the flower area. Coming up with the strapline 'fresh flowers naturally' I decided to begin including this. Upon including my strapline within my previous design I felt that nothing in the logo represented natural as the logo was very clean, neat and slick and I felt I needed to address this.
Browsing on font websites I came across floral dingbats. I decided this could be used as a potential element within my design as the flowers r very rough and sketchy. I feel this gives a great handrawn, natural, original effect. I do need to be careful though as I want to avoid making the identity look too old.
