Here I decided to practice my illustration skills. As I have recently been using illustrator alot I took it upon myself to improve my present skills. I decided to take a image of my favorate cartoon character and re draw with the pen tool. I found it easier to illustrate this image as it is made up of solid blocks of colour. I also found it beneficial as i could practice how to 'read' the image in terms of layers etc. I also added a few gradients to bring out the image.
